Day 29

Some days, it seems like a long way to 366! It was a beautiful day for January with a nice breeze blowing. I caught Old Glory waving proudly and couldn’t resist!

Day 28

I find myself drawn to Nature time and again; there’s just something fascinating about seeing things in a new way! I also, found this nifty plug in that softened and added the edging to the photo; neat isn’t it?

Day 27

More from Yorktown; I had these two horseback riders come along as I was framing a long, uninteresting shot. Thank goodness they stopped by! I played with it a bit in post, desaturating the colors and playing with selective fill lighting. It gave me a nice silhouette of the couple.

Day 26

I took a walking tour around the Yorktown Battlefield park this weekend. Midday, which is the worst kind of light, provided a challenge to work with. These are some posts along side a road.

Day 25

Well, the sky opened up this morning and the heavens poured down! This is a photo of the train on it’s siding through the torrential downpour!

Day 24

Again with the busy! Sorry about the delay for those who await my posts so anxiously! This was a shot of some stained glass windows in Germany; inside out. I love the swirls of color in the glass!

Day 23

Busy Busy today! Photo is of a row of container boxes at a warehouse. Did some post work to bring out the color in the boxes and desaturate the background. I like the effect; I wish the containers had some differing colors though!
